
Gunder Andreasen
Dr. Andreasen teaches Physical Education at Riverside Preparatory High School and Middle School. Before coming to Riverside Prep he taught at Silver Valley High School (25 years), Baker High School (2 years) and was a part time instructor at Barstow College (10 years). While at Silver Valley, Coach Andreasen was the Athletic Director for 17 years and coached a variety of sports including: cross-country, basketball, football, softball and golf. Dr. Andreasen earned a Doctorate in Physical Education from Brigham Young University.

Roy Creason
Mr. Roy Creason is a Senior Teacher at Riverside Preparatory School. He is teaching English, Social Studies, and Art this school year. Mr. Creason graduated from Victor Valley College with an Associates Degree in Liberal Arts and went on to the University of California at Riverside where he earned a Bachelors degree and teaching credential in Elementary Education. He has taught at Oro Grande Elementary School for the past twenty-seven years and is committed to seeing each and every student achieve his or her best. He has served as a member of the Victor Valley Credit Board for the past ten years and is also an avid gardener and golfer. Mr. Creason serves as advisor to the chess club and gardening club. He is an accomplished artist, but is also an excellent mathematician.
Mr. Tom Dingeldein is the band director and Music Department Chair for Riverside Preparatory School. He earned his Bachelors Degree in Music and Cultural Studies from Ohio University and a Master of Arts in Education Degree from Azusa Pacific University. Prior to coming to Riverside Preparatory, Mr. Dingeldein was the Music Director for Cobalt Middle School in Victorville. Mr. Dingeldein’s Band program was extremely successful during the school’s first year of operation. The Band participated in two Christmas parades, played at Mimi’s Cafe and Maverick’s Stadium and finished the year by cutting a Jazz Band CD.
Mrs. Lundeen teaches Kindergarten at Riverside Preparatory School. She came to Riverside Prep. with thirty years experience in education. Mrs. Lundeen has taught at all grade levels (elementary, middle school, high school and college) with the majority of her experience at the elementary level. Mrs. Lundeen earned her Bachelor of Arts Degree and Masters of Art Degree from California State Polytechnic University at Pomona. She has currently completed all but her dissertation toward her doctorate degree at Azusa Pacific University.
Mrs. Lundeen has extensive training in early literacy, including reading, phonics and writing instruction. Her training is extremely well suited for teaching the youngest students at Riverside Preparatory. As a Kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Lundeen provides a rich, literature-based program of education for our students. It is expected that Kindergarten children will be provided with the background they need for the rest of their education.
Mrs. Jennifer Moore is a Senior Teacher at Riverside Preparatory School. She is teaching Third Grade this school year. She served as the senior teacher for the seventh grade pilot program at Mojave River Academy that was transformed into Riverside Preparatory School in the 2007-2008 school year. In that program Mrs. Moore taught English, Social Studies, and Science as well as serving as Science Camp Advisor, Newspaper Advisor, and Advisor to the Associated Student Body (ASB). Last year Mrs. Moore taught third grade for Riverside Preparatory and is returning to third grade for the 2008-2009 school year.
Mrs. Moore earned her Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Eastern Washington University, located in Cheney Washington (about 17 miles from Spokane) and her Master of Science degree in Education from Walden University. Prior to coming to Mojave River and subsequently to Riverside Preparatory School, Mrs. Moore taught for five years at Fort Irwin in the Silver Valley Unified School District. Mrs. Moore has served on a wide variety of educational committees and has served in a number of leadership roles including Grade Level Chair, Middle Grades Chair, and Science Committee Chair.
Mrs. Suzy Watts is a Senior Teacher at Riverside Preparatory School working mainly in the Elementary Program. Mrs. Watts is teaching second grade this school year. Mrs. Watts earned her Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies from California State University at San Bernardino along with her Multiple Subject Teaching Credential. She is in the process of pursuing her Masters Degree in Counseling from APU. Prior to coming to Riverside Preparatory she served the Oro Grande School as an Elementary Teacher for ten years.
She knew that ever since she was a little girl, she would be a teacher. She loves children and feels that all children can succeed if they they put their heart and soul into it. Dr. Moore has called her one of the best elementary teachers he has ever worked with! Mrs. Watts’ biggest thrill is seeing children grow, and more importantly making a positive difference in the lives of the children she teaches. Her class motto is:” You can achieve and succeed, if you put all of your heart into it.” Mrs. Watts has been married for 10 years to her handsome and wonderful husband, Steve. She is a blessed and proud mommy of her newly born beautiful son, Paul.
